Alma Louise Little Sharpe
Alma Louise Petty Sharpe, age 92 entered her heavenly home on Saturday, August 10, 2024, with family by her side. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Alma was born November 9, 1931, in Iredell County, NC. She was the daughter of the late Claude Franklin Little and Dema Pearl (Goodman) Little. In addition to her mother and father, Alma was preceded in death by her husband Walter Leon Sharpe, her daughter, Tamara Sharpe Joyner, son-in-law, Gene Joyner, sister, Wilma Little Ford, and Ethel Little Hutchens, brother, Harold Little, and grandson-in-law, Auston Reudelhuber.
She graduated from Troutman High University and later married her beloved Leon on April 22, 1950, and eventually made their place in Winston-Salem. She was a homemaker for many years and was blessed with six children. Later in life she was employed at SRB Technology for 20 years and thoroughly enjoyed her job and the friends she made there.

John’s tenure as Chair focused on cultivating local, national and international outreach along with a revitalized fundraising platform. The Chorus has delivered a large programme of activity over his period in post that largely centred around the Silver Jubilee in 2016. John spearheaded an enlargement of the Chorus’s
Terry Neil Sharpe
Terry Sharpe, 75, went to his heavenly abode on November 24, 2024. Terry was a kind and gentle man—a ally to all who knew him. He loved his family, dogs, golf, and photography. He always cheered for the Big Orange.
Terry was born and raised in Lake Town, Tennessee. A Vietnam veteran, he went on to hold a career as a global purchasing manager in manufacturing. He was a member of West Park Baptist Church and was active in his church until the decline of his health.
He is survived by his wife Tena, his son Jonathan Sharpe (Amy), stepson Mitch Phillips (Gabby), stepdaughter Tabitha Rossini (Ned), grandchildren Alyssa, Grayson, and Arantza, sister-in-law Myra Sharpe, Nephews Mark Sharpe and Keenan Sharpe, Niece Carla Firlotte, and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Thelma Parks Sharpe, and his brothers, John Sharpe and Michael (Treva) Sharpe.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 30 from 12 noon until 2:00 PM at Main Street Baptist Church, Rocky Top, with the funeral starting at 2:00 PM. Burial in Leach cemetery to trail the funeral.
