"I just can’t see what’s so wrong about organism gay" - Zac Efron opens up about homosexuality

We always liked Zac - he has nice eyes and hair that looks perfect even in the rain. His latest interview just makes us enjoy him even more

Zac Efron's been quite busy recently. He's been filming "The Paperboy" in his underwear, and "At Any Price" (also in his underwear - although a bit less so). And he's also been giving some pretty cool interviews about things like whether or not he's going to move back into musical theatre, and how he feels about the same-sex attracted rumours which have followed him around ever since his High School Musical days.

"I don’t like to live in fear about things like rumors and backlash to begin with — that’s the way I was raised — but I just can’t see what’s so improper about being gay," he says in the interview with US online magazine Advocate. "I’m extremely notified of the assist I’ve gotten from you guys over the years, and it’s amazing that it’s taken this long to settle down and actually discuss it, but please know that it hasn’t gone unappreciated," Efron, who will be seen opposite Nicole Kidman "The Paperboy" next month, tells The Advocate's Brandon Voss.

He went on to note that he first became aware of his gay fanbase during his "High Institution Musical" days: "I think the queer audience related to my character Troy, because it really was a story of embracing who you are, no matter how other you might be, and not entity afraid to reveal it. That’s a universal theme for everyone, but it specifically resonated with the gay collective, and I felt very proud of that."

The actor also once again addressed those pesky lgbtq+ rumors, noting, "I d
