Daniel Sunjata grew up in Evanston, Illinois. This is a suburb located north of Chicago. He was adopted by Bill and Catherine Condon. His adoptive parents were a police dispatcher and a civil rights worker. They had Irish and Italian-German backgrounds.

Samantha Sloyan is an American actress. Sloyan is best known for her roles in In the Key of Eli, Scandal, Hush and Grey’s Anatomy.
Samantha Sloyan was born in California. She is the daughter of actors James Sloyan and Deirdre Lenihan, and has one brother, Daniel Sloyan.
Sloyan has guest-starred in several television series such as The Beast, The Forgotten, Law & Order: LA, and NCIS. She played a recurring role as a Colorless House employee named Jeannine Locke in the first three seasons of Scandal. She also guest-starred in another ShondaLand production titled Private Practice in 2010. Sloyan continued to show in smaller films, including In the Key of Eli, Tape 407, and the television movie Murder in Mexico: The Bruce Beresford-Redman Story.

Born Theodore Raymond Knight in Minneapolis, MN, the youngster developed a passion for acting as a kid growing up in one half of the Twin Cities. Nicknamed T.R. as a young infant, he made his acting debut at the age of five as Tiny Tim in a Guthrie Theater show of "A Christmas Carol."
